等了很久，终于来了~
丁当开场，独家合唱《拥抱》，变形金刚，爆破连连，连唱29首三个钟，整场DNA，又high又感动。话不多说，先看点照片吧

这是继Final Home 2006, Jump 2008之后，我看的第三场五月天大马演唱会了。现场high到爆，不管是不是他们的超级粉丝，亲临现场后每个人都余温不散至少一星期啊~ 我敢说，这是大马史上最high的演唱会，看看video就知啦~

B16A 4-2-1 Extractor and 5Zigen Border 304 for Sale!

It's been a year this 4-2-1 header and border 304 with me since the 1st day my car come out from the garage. Really love the low end torque and the superb V-TEC engaged roar of the muffler! And yet didn't give me much trouble from the police, perhaps I'm just lucky~

As it is a 2inch piping setup, it serve me very well in acceleration especially in the drag race of Johor Circuit. But as I hope to focus on full track setup for my car, it will be better for me to up-size to 2.3inch piping which will be much better to match with my future plan. However, this 2inch setup is very much recommended for any standard B16A for street performance combine with some track session.

Both the header and the muffler are made in Japan, and the header come with a JASMA tag which means it fulfilled the Japan authority road legal requirement and built quality. The Border 304 does not have the JASMA tag as it is a race spec muffler, with high power output and sound level which is not legal to use on Japan public road. Both of them are in very good condition, the header has minor repair outer face which will not affect the performance at all.

For those who wish to take the extractor and muffler together, the center piping with 2 center bullet will be given free! This setup is still roaring on my car and will be taken down June or July when my new 5Zigen Pro Racer extractor arrived from US. If interested you are very welcomed to test it on my car! It will be plug and play on Civic EK4/EG9 4doors or any other B16A with minor mod.

Late Update: 2010 Birthday

It was more than a month ago, my birthday. As EXPECTED, there isn't much thing to expect this year. My dearest girlfriend was 800km away from me, and friends back in my hometown seems had disappearing for some while. It's until the last few hours countdown to my birthday only my best friend "accidentally" found out it's my birthday on the next day! So he "roughly" call up some friends and bought a small cake and there goes my birthday celebration.

So we head to a heritage style cafe at JB town, Roost Juice + Bar. Heard the upstairs view is much better but sadly it was full house that day. They have their drinks in "tong" style, but it seems a bit weird for me and nothing special about the drinks too.

So what's next? Roost again! I have no idea but we just head to another Roost located in The Zone, which has a better location and decoration as well. And here we just go through the standard procedure of a birthday celebration...

I got my precious birthday presents only about a week later..well..it's better than nothing! But I did like it very much ...

That's my very normal and simple 2010 birthday... how simple is yours?

Solidwoks CAD : Intake and Exhaust for Honda Civic EK4 Sedan B16A

Again, I was too bored in the office and I started to draw things I actually plan to get for my car in real life..haha. This time it is the Carbon Fiber Power Chamber Intake Kit for Vtec and also exhaust system for Civic EK4 Sedan.

I'm not showing here as it may take some time for me to rerun the analysis and take the snap shot. By the way, very soon you'll see some pictures of the "real stuff" which I get for my EK4!

For next sharing on CAD drawing, I'll come up with a simple model of formula car. Stay Tune! :)

D2 Camber Kit installed on my EK!

It was a week ago..I got my D2 Racing camber kit and installed on my EK. D2 Racing camber kit is very well made with high quality material, unlike many "local production" camber kit.

High strength aluminum body and hard rubber bush featured in this D2 Racing will ensure the car running smoothly all the time. Forget about cheapo camber kit which the rubber bush will failed just after few months of normal drive, D2 Racing is really worth to get at RM385 for my EK!

This is the 13years old camber arm on my car, where the bushing had cracked. This may cause unstable handling during corner!

There you go.. now I can turn-in corner confidently!

Skunk2 Intake Manifold Clone/Imitation/Fake Alert

Imitation Skunk2 products had reach our country long ago and sell like no tomorrow. Skunk2 Racing had finally respond by making official announcement in their website. There are series of photos and comparison to identify the clone, and it does pin point our local Skunk2 clone. With this comparison I believe you don't even need sharp eyes to find that more than 90% of the Skunk2 out there in Malaysia, are all clone!

Skunk2 has greater clearance on the throttle body opening to allow porting up to 75mm.

Skunk2 has smooth intake runner while fake is V-shape.

Fake has irregular casting mark (2).

Fake has box with folding line.

I had identified most of the "Skunk2" selling online in Malaysia are clone. You can easily found the clone in Mudah, Zerotohundred, Lowyat.net, and even many of the "performance workshop"!! Clone manifold has poorer quality and performance compare to your stock standard manifold, so always insist on GENUINE and ORIGINAL performance parts.

Pro/ENGINEER Combustion Engine Blower CAD Simulation

During 1st 2 weeks of my job in R&D, the workstation I using has only 1 CAD software - Pro/Engineer. I've used CATIA V5 and Solidworks before, but not Pro/E. As I'm new here and nothing much I was assigned to do, I got the Pro/E Advanced Modeling Module and start to learn it myself.

By default, Pro/E seems to be very not user friendly in term of the user interface. Maybe I've get used to using Solidworks, but you can compare the default appearance of the working desk yourself.

I'm not going to compare the performance of these 2 CAD software, as this is very depend on personal preference, and I'm not a real pro in both as well. But for me, working with Pro/E is really a disaster for me when I've used to Solidworks interface.

So for the Pro/E module, I'm going to draw a 3D blower assembly power by a combustion engine. It consists of 39 components including bolts, which I need to draw it one by one precisely. Same as most 3D CAD software, Pro/E use solid modeling which you actually define the dimension and volume at the same time as you sketch. So every part you draw will be a solid model.

Then each of the components will be assembly together to complete the model. This is done by properly define the position and relation between components. The sketch plane and direction when drawing each particular components will greatly affects the assembly work here.

I was doing this step by step following the guide in Pro/E module, so it only takes me less than a week to complete it. My main purpose is just to get myself familiar with the Pro/E interface. Now come the most interesting part, get the blower and engine running! In "Mechanical" application of Pro/E, I can apply a motor motion on any components of my assembly. In this case I define the motion on the connection pin of crank shaft to the piston connecting rod with rotational velocity. So the crack shaft pin will rotate along the crank shaft axis itself, and moving all the other components which are connecting to it. This simulation is most useful to check for interference between components to avoid engine failure. I have the video in mpeg but I couldn't access YouTube in my office, so I tried to make a low quality GIF animation to show here. In my next CAD post, I'll show you my 1st time of surface modeling in Solidworks to create a Child Restraint System, sporty version! :)

the legend Civic Type R going to be discontinued as official announcement from Honda Japan.

In short, this CTR FD2R, made in Japan, currently selling in Japan and Malaysia only, will discontinued after August.

Maybe some of you may think FN2R looks more like a sport car. In fact, the performance of FN2R is no way near the FD2R. Here are a few points for ease of comparison in case you didn't know:

1. FD2R has 24hoursepower more than FN2R

2. FD2R original equiped with Brembo 4Pot Front Caliper, but not FN2R

3. FD2R has independent suspension system, FN2R is the only Civic with Torsion Beam, which is much disappointing in term of performance.

4. Most importantly, FD2R is JDM(Japanese Domestic Market) model!

If you still like FN2R more than FD2R, you'll get more disappointment as FN2R is made in UK. If Honda Malaysia is going to import this model, it will definitely cost more than the current FD2R model.

If you are a die-hard fans of JDM CTR, make your booking now at Honda showroom before it is sold out!

D2 Racing Rear Camber Kit

It was a month ago when I brought my car to do the wheel alignment.
I never know until the foreman take out the rear wheel to add spacer on the camber arm to adjust the camber angle (Most Honda cars camber is not adjustable, but it will has more negative angle if you lower the car), my camber arm bush is totally destroyed, the arm just work like without any bushing!

This is terrible as the arm has loose mounting point, possible causing camber angle differ during the corner, and knocking on the body may permanently spoilt the mounting point as well.

So, instead of doing a "maintenance" on this, I decide to go for a "improvement" - Camber Kit, which allow direct camber adjustment on the camber arm. There are alot aftermarket camber kit available, but simply getting one will only cause more trouble. Imagine the rubber bush of those low quality camber kit destroyed in 3months again, what you gonna do with it?

After some research and getting advice from the expert, D2 Racing Rear Camber Kit is my choice. Although D2 Racing is from Taiwan, but since I've been using their fully adjustable suspension for more than half year without any problem, I believe their camber kit will not fail me as well. Will update again when I get the camber kit and get it install on coming Sunday!

F1 Run Kart Race..Over

On the 1st day of the midterm break, I and my 4 other friends had joined a F1 Fun Kart Race in Sepang Go-Kart Track. This is a special promotion event of Sepang F1 GP which is only for students to join, so we join on behalf of MMU Melaka Campus..hehe. The most extractive part is that 4winners in the 1st round will get the chance to race in the final round with some F1 team drivers!!
The Sepang Go-Kart Track is actually a minisize Sepang F1 Track, with high level go-kart machines and on track equipments. It is a nice track with some challenging corners.
The Go-Kart running with 4 stroke engine and slick tiresThe spicy hot event crews…2 of our team drivers ranked 1st and 3rd in 1st heat race, and advanced to quarter final round (both in light brown shirt)
We finished in 2nd and 3rd position. Only 1st and 2nd of quarter finals will go to the final round, so we have 1 driver get the chance to race with F1 Team!

Today in the Final Round, test drivers from BMW Sauber and Force India are racing in the fun karts. They are really fast, taking down champion title very easily. MMU Team drivers couldn't finished in top 3 after clashing with other driver. However all participants in the final round received 2 Citrine tickets for Sepang F1 GP, that's really a good rewards. Let's look forward for the F1 action this weekend in Sepang Internation Circuit.

Race with Raikkonen?

OK it was on last Friday when I browse through Sepang F1 Circuit website, to check out when is the next open track day, cause I plan to bring my new project car to do some test there. But something other than this catch my attention - "Fun Kart With World Class Drivers For Students".It's a kart race at Sepang Go-Kart Track just beside the F1 circuits, only for students from school/university/college. They want 12 schools to form their teams and each team may have up to 10 drivers. With some heats and races, the final 4 winners will get the chance to race on 2nd April Grand Final, together with Formula 1, GP2 and Formula BMW Pacific teams' members and drivers!Sepang Go-Kart Track Layout

The registration is actually over but I manage to contact the person in charge, and get myself and another 4 drivers to represent MMU Melaka to join this race. Our first heat will be on 21st March, hopefully we can get a place in the Grand Final, and hopefully to race along with some great F1 drivers! Wait for my good news on this coming Saturday. Have you ever heard about Earth Hour? It’s started in year 2007, one city made a powerful statement about the urgent need for action on global warming. 2.2 million homes and businesses in Sydney Australia, switched off their lights for one hour. They manage to get 10.2% energy consumption reduction, equivalent to taking 48000 cars off the road for that particular hour. Most importantly, they get to raised people’s awareness on global warming, and started to react by making a simple move - turn off the lights at Earth Hour.

This move had caught the attention of many countries around the world, lots of media cover the news report of Earth Hour in Sydney. In year 2008, Earth Hour went global. In 370 cities of 35 countries, 50 million people switching off their lights during Earth Hour. This year, Earth Hour has been transformed into the world’s first global election, Earth vs Global Warming.

WWF are urging the world to VOTE EARTH. With one billion votes of Earth, the results of this election will be presented at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009, to tell world leaders that we have to take action against global warming in official government policies.

If you still care about your planet which you living in, please join this election and vote for Earth. 真的有必要那么难吗？

这样对我有什么好处吗？
为什么一定要想到那么复杂

难道人就不可以简简单单的直接表达自己的感受吗？
难道人就不可以简简单单的相信人家所讲的吗？

要别人相信自己真的很难，很辛苦
当你说的是真话但别人就是不相信你时，更加痛苦

现在的我，慢慢的觉得
原来，讲假话的人，真的过的比较好
讲真话，真的很累

载我来回中国的厦门航空飞机
很小下

中国人很爱养狗
而且都是小小和很可爱的

我们上巴士的时候跑过来一直看我们

北京刚建好的CCTV大楼，还没启用
很特别的设计，感觉好像不balance酱

中国八天行 Day 8 Finale

~28th Oct~
今天一早起来的感觉特别轻松
因为终于要回国了
总算挨到了第八天
当然陪父母到处走走看风景是好啦
只是跟aunty uncle团毕竟是比较闷点～

下午两点半的飞机
导游说公司定了国外团一定要在航班三小时前去机场
以免误机
所以今天的午餐安排在十点半吃
早上八点我们就去这边的文化街逛了
 基本上这边的商店多数是九点多才开门
所以来到都只是走走而已
 珠宝都可以七里香？嗅得到咩？？
广场上看到很多老年人在写毛笔大字
只是用清水，一直写一直干又再写
不用墨汁
手法一流，写出来的字美到很像print出来酱
这样的休闲活动都几好下
这边就是在中国的最后一餐了
就在昨天去的食品街里面
也是没什么特别

吃完就去机场了

MF855，两点半飞厦门，然后再从厦门飞新加坡，然后才从新加坡坐巴士回古来，有得累料咯～～
结果航班延误，三点才出发，更累～～～
到新加坡已经是十点半了
等行李后上巴士已经十一点多了
然后沿路放团员在新山多个地方下车
古来是最后一站
到家已经快两点了
够累
中国行终于结束了～～

中国八天行 Day 7

~27th Oct~
今天又要去看长城了
首先我们到山海关的老龙头
之前在北京去的不是山海关
我记错了，北京去的是八达岭长城
山海关算是长城的源头
从海里开始的导游叫我们走中间上去
因为旁边两边的阶梯给士兵走的
中间的砖块给马走的
所以马＂道＂成功～～～
看到海了
可是为什么有个＂一勺只多＂呢
据说这是当时的皇帝讲的
意指他的权威很大，只需一勺就能把这海填满
 之后我们就去孟姜女庙
关于孟姜女我就不说了
有点长
总之就是后人景仰她的忠贞
感叹她的忠烈而建的庙
上去就看到她的雕像
庙门口有个对联很特别
你念念看，应该怎么念？
根据专家的研究呢
这对联可以有16种念法
只要你念得有意思就可以了
而最普遍的念法是这样的
hai shui chao,zhao zhao chao,zhao chao zhao luo
fu yun zhang,chang chang zhang,chang zhang chang xiao
这边的风景都几美下
之后我们就去主要景点－天下第一关
顾名思义就是长城的第一关啦
 这是以前地图的复制品
看到我刚刚去了哪里吗？
最右边有海，就是老龙头了
在上面山边的，就是面对城的孟姜女庙
孟姜女就是在这边每天看着长城等她的老公回来
结果都等不到
而现在的天下第一关
就是在四方型的城的最中间这个塔有很多个窗户
窗户上的板中间有个黑圈
做么的勒？
是赶鸟用的～～～～
山海关是整个长城最宽的
 上面那个天下第一关的牌是复制的
我之前拍的那张才是原本的
就在这塔里面

过后我们在这边的天下第一饭店吃午餐
吃完后，又要坐巴士到天津了
这次要坐四个小时！

到天津已经是傍晚了
先到食品街去逛
在这边大家都买了很多东西回去送人
都是些土产小吃
可以买到百多两百马币酱多～然后就到附近的餐馆吃涮羊肉
其实就像我们吃steamboat酱而已
只是这边有特别的酱料和羊肉切得很薄
所以还不错吃下之后就check in hotel在中国住最后一晚了
明天从这边飞回去了
不过看了我第一帖怎样来中国
应该大概知道明天的行程是怎样的吧

中国八天行 Day 6

~26th Oct~
真想在这间真正四星的酒店再呆久点
可是今天要启程去秦皇岛
所以早上七点半就check out了

一早我们就到在天安门附近的正阳门
那边以前有几个门，过后拆了一些剩下多少个门我也不记得了
不过我们今天去参观的是正阳门的箭楼

导游好像是没有什么介绍这个门
不过听名字和看它的design
应该就是射箭护城用的吧上到箭楼里面
都是一些讲风水的东西
那个风水师傅讲到头头是道
还分析了我们大马的风水
说双峰塔当年是照什么风水怎样建的啊
底楼有多少个门啊
总之就是讲到他几利害就是了
然后带我们上楼继续讲
还给我们看一个表
是以出身年份和性别来分你的属性(金木水火土)
我是木，幸运色是白色
跟我同年的女生就是土，幸运色是。。。。秘密～

听完风水，就到对面的路口看看。
正对着正阳门的就是北京的老街
算是北京最古老的街之一
最近已经被政府翻新
不过还是照回以前老街的原貌拍照拍到一半
突然听到敲锣打鼓的声音
大家都望向老街的方向
从人群中看到很多身穿红色衣服的人从老街里走出来
原来是有人办喜事
是真的喜事哦，不是扮的
没想到现在还有人用酱传统的方式结婚啊
是蛮特别的啦～
我冲过马路跟上他们去拍了照片
可惜拍不到新娘子～哈哈
看完热闹就去吃在北京的最后一餐了
招牌很特别，不过吃的就。。。。还好咯
吃完马上就坐巴士前往秦皇岛了
吃饱饱就坐三个小时的车程
很难消化咯
到了那边又马上吃晚餐了
吃完就check in hotel
导游说这边晚上都没有商场开的
没什么活动
我跟爸妈就到街上走走而已
这时的气温还蛮冷的，又吹风
刚好酒店正对面就是McD
来中国之前有人跟我讲中国McD有猪肉的沃～～～～
就很想去试咯～～～～
去到都没有看到猪肉咯～～～～～～
menu跟我们几乎是一样的
只是改成中文名吧了
我就叫了鲜蔬足尊牛堡
就是Quarter Pounder啦
料一样，可是味道完全不一样
cheese里面参了辣椒
牛肉又没味道
我是觉得很难吃咯～～

回酒店休息明天一早又要check out去天津了
累～

中国八天行 Day 5

~25th Oct~
同样6AM的Morning Call
可是今天比较赶一点
因为要打包行李
今晚会入住在北京的另一间酒店一晚

今天参观的是军事博物馆
里面还有四川抗震救灾主题展览
一进去就看到一个看门的站在那边一动也不动~~
这边很大，导游说直直进去看重点好了，有时间才看别的
这边展览的都是比较老旧的兵器啦
不过门口两边放的坦克和战斗机+背景+我拍照的角度出来效果很真下～哈哈
 现场还有真人示范开防空炮～～～
楼上还有示范火箭炮！
不过这个人看他很久都不动的～～

原来有酱多pattern的～～

枪更多！这张图看到的差不多只是整个展览的二十分之一吧。任何一种你讲得出的枪的类型，这边都有～～

楼上还有雕像馆
从以前的皇帝到现在的李光耀都有
很出名的雕刻大师做的
 出来兵器馆旁边有展览中国发展之类的东东
只拍了这个

长江不懂几号的降落仓记得不是一号就对了

过后就去看四川抗震救灾
一进去就看到很多人围在一起
原来现场有播放当时的一些真实片段
真的很恐怖

看完四川展览后，收拾下心情去看鸟巢和水立方的外观

整个下午去哪里我也忘了
只记得晚餐到了一间so call最靠近鸟巢的餐厅吃饭。
其实也是business trip
旁边就是珠宝店，开在一起的。
进去一间小房，有位小姐要跟我们讲解怎样分真假
可是还没开始，就跟我们聊了一大堆，
然后还说这边经理也是马来西亚人
结果就请经理进来也没有讲解了
经理进来后就用马来文讲apa khabar
死要证明他是马来西亚人酱
过后他用penang腔跟我们讲福建话
我听懂5%左右酱，不过其他uncle说真的应该是penang人
过后聊啊聊，大家很爽酱
经理更爽，他讲很久没有回马
今天开心送我们一人一块玉！
还讲这个玉他们卖300RMB一个(大概RM160)
其实本钱才几十块人民币吧了
聊完出去庭，他讲今天全部不要赚，本钱价给我们要买什么就买什么
拿整盒冰玉项链出来，标价498RMB
卖我们200RMB还送多一个标价298RMB的冰玉手链
哇大家几开心下，连我妈都买了
不过过后出来想想，他这样以后还可以做生意吗？
我们等旅车的时候还看到他跑出来搭bus
很大可能是他们请来的OSCAR得奖演员演戏而已
哪个国家的团来，就请那国的人来演咯
不过算啦，大家开心就好～

过后到著名的酒吧街逛，旁边是个湖

这间里面有吧台钢管舞～～～～～～

大概随便逛下就回酒店了
今天住的总算值回票价
真的有四星哦
房间又大又干净
还有弹簧床
不过我们十一点check in
早上七点就check out了
只是去睡下而已
因为明天就要离开北京到秦皇岛了

中国八天行 Day 4

~24th Oct~
还是6AM
不过一早起来的行程我已经忘了
应该是不重要的瓜~~

十点多就带我们去看珍珠厂了
进去前导游说在里面听讲解的时候
他们会给我们示范开一个蚌壳
然后给我们猜里面有多少粒珍珠
猜对就会送我们
因为这个蚌是在北京的一个人工湖养的
然后北京的水质含的矿物质会比较多
所以珍珠也会比较多，叫我们猜十粒以上

讲解员拿了一个三年的蚌壳准备要开
让我们每人猜个数量我猜了15,我妈就猜21,因为我21岁嘛
结果，还真的是21粒！
全部送我妈～
不过她洗的时候好像掉了两粒，所以剩19粒
之后卖什么珍珠粉的就不提了
看完珍珠，今天参观颐和园(Summer Palace)
这边是以前皇帝夏天来避暑的地方
一来就是几个月长住在这边
中间有湖，后面有山，所以会很凉
门口外面两边有很大的龙和凤据说呢当时的慈禧太后，很霸权
当时的皇帝根本是没有地位的
什么都是慈禧管

皇帝和皇后都比她的小
过后还把皇帝封闭在这边不让他出去

麒岭雕像，导游跟我们讲了很多关于这个风水的东西

上面每根柱子的上下左右都有一幅画，全部都是不一样，没重复的

过后我们到北京的老城区坐三轮车
区里有个钟楼和鼓楼
是以前用来报时的

下午五点我们就回到北京市去红剧场看少林工夫秀

是以舞台剧的方式呈现的
好像有在很多国家巡回演出
不错看下，比那天看的杂技好多多咯

吃完晚餐后终于安排好去找我大哥了
去他住的公寓看看
很大间下
是他公司包租给每位外籍员工一人一间的
一间的月租金大概要三千马币啊
北京的屋价超高的
呆了一下就回酒店了
大哥拜六礼拜都要做工赶project
所以就没有留在他那边住了

中国八天行 Day 3

~23rd Oct~
又是6AM Morning Call!
今天起来想冲凉，还洗了脸。
我用的是Clean & Clear能长时间让脸不油的那种，
结果真的后悔没听导游的吩咐。
在酒店吃早餐的时候，我嘴巴几乎张不开来吃东西，张大脸就很痛，嘴边的皮肤好象撕裂的感觉，太干燥了。
吃完去照镜子，都红红了，又痛～

今天又要去看些古文物，又是跟皇帝有关的东东。
昨天看了皇帝住的地方，办公的地方，拜天的地方，

今天连他被埋葬的地方都要看－定陵地下宫殿

还没＂下＂去前，有个小小的展览馆，里面有个当年皇帝的墓被打开时的照片。里面大概就是这样的隧道，和一些仿制的东西。原本的东西不懂是当年已经被人丢了还是烧掉了。

一张是皇帝的椅子，一张是皇后的椅子。怎么分呢？扶手上雕着龙就是给皇帝的，雕着凤凰就是给皇后的。

这里的门也是9x9~~

这个巨型碑是这里唯一原本的文物

因为它本来是相在大石灰里面,外人来开墓的时候不知道里面有个碑所以没有把它带走

看完定陵后，导游就带我们去"business trip"了
就是带你去他们公司＂安排＂好的地方参观和消费
里面的东西是真是假也不想去查
价钱是贵是平也不要去计较
那些aunty花钱花到开心就好咯
我们有去看玉，珍珠，水晶，蚕丝厂
可以说每间都是一样的运作方式。
进去就先介绍这个东西的好处
然后他们怎样制作
然后证明他们的东西几真
全部都是他们自己讲就算的啦
介绍完后就带你进另一个厅
超级多的柜台和sales girl
手上拿着几种款式一面摇一面喊"aunty aunty,来看看呀～"
那些aunty看到几爽，我几闲～

那边的工作人员讲这粒大大粒的几真，几有功效。要发财就怎样怎样摸，要爱情就怎样怎样摸，要健康就怎样怎样摸。aunty们都抢着去摸！

看完后终于要去些有意思的地方了~~

长城有很多个关，多数都是没有连接的，有些中段已经坍塌。
我们去的是第二关，八达岭长城。
导游说我们大概爬两三个亭就好下来了
不要爬到没力才下来
因为下来会更吃力
我当然是没有当一回事啦
我脚力当然是没问题啦
看，好象都几容易上酱
进去后我才知道，原来跟平时爬楼梯根本是两回事！
超高和很浅的阶梯，脚踏上去脚根的部位有时是没有接触地面的，还有不平的表面，和整个超斜的幅度，真的很累～看不出几斜？再看下～
这里是第一个亭而已～
从第一亭去第二亭是平地，有点下斜坡的，所以还好。
到了第二亭，就可以看到第三亭了，更高更斜！
有些地方很斜但是没有阶梯，是平面的。
过后那边的人才加上木条方便人上去参观。
真不懂以前的士兵是怎样爬的啊
 看吧，上第三亭还真的不是普通的斜～
左边有个牌子看到吧？
牌子后面是两个轮胎
可能是防止有人＂滚＂下来的时候可以stop他
几可怕下～

上第三亭的时候我就把相机收起来了没有拍
我不想滚下去和轮胎做朋友咯
终于上到第三亭的时候真的很累，
又喘，因为上面空气比较稀薄一点。
加上当时气温应该少过10摄式度和高处刮大风，
真的有点喘不过气，因为我爬太快了。
不过从这边看的风景真的是几美下
 再上第四亭就真的是更斜了
还加了栏杆门警告牌
考虑到时间的关系，就没有再爬了。(其实我是没力了啦~)
导游说的又对了
下去真的很吃力
因为阶梯太高了，又很斜，
然后刚才上太快，
下的时候脚软，一面下一面斗～

看到我爬到哪里吗？

爬完长城，就回去市区吃晚餐了。
然后到北京最繁华的街去逛 - 王俯井大街

不是很明他要表达什么

这边灯饰都很美下
不过今晚很冷，吹大风
因为前一晚下雨。
那边人说在秋天下场雨，就会变比较冷，
然后一直到冬天就是越来越冷。
走在街上我手根本是冻的，没有什么知觉。
九点多大概逛了一下就回酒店了
导游说今晚凌晨最低气温会到零下一摄式度！
回去可以冬眠了～

中国八天行 Day 2

~22nd Oct~
6AM Morning Call,当地导游吩咐早上别冲亮不然皮肤会很干燥，所以我只是洗头咯。不过还是有点不习惯。
七点多吃完早餐，到酒店外面看看看起来好象是个很不错的地点hor?
没有咯，正门马路是烂的，旁边是工地，北京市大路根本看不到这间酒店，前一晚在北京做工的大哥本来要过来的，可是问taxi都不懂在哪里，结果就改天才来了。

今天有几个景点，首先到景山公园，在故宫后面，当年有个皇帝逃跑在这边上吊死的。上面有个亭子是环珠格格的取景的地方。

在第三个亭能够看到整个故宫(紫禁城)

我们从故宫后门进去开始参观一直走到前门，很远下～

这个是当年皇帝选老婆的地方

从南方运来的海底石

皇帝住的地方，门上一粒一粒的一定是9x9个，因为9代表最大～～

这个是很多戏和电影都有取景的地方，不过戏里看到的都是在伪造的地方拍的，历史古迹不能随便进来拍嘛

我看了下，一个大臣要从外面走进来见皇帝，大概要过三个大门才到。不过导游讲以前皇帝在大日子才会在故宫的大殿里，平时在小office的。

走到前门出来后就是天安门了，不过我还是比较喜欢拍花啦～

本来要到对面的广场，可是那边戒严了，清场。

听起来很严重，可是在那边，戒严几乎是天天有的事，
只要有政府官员去的地方，都戒严。
今天刚好有外国专员来访，所以有些什么仪式的，我们没有看就离开了

刚好经过奥运商品专卖店，门口摆着大型福娃，就为了拍这张照片，我第一次弄掉我的相机，zoom buttom凹了～～过后到天坛，以前皇帝拜祭天的地方，因为皇帝是天子。不要怀疑，你看到的真的是马来西亚国旗。以前没电，这个是挂大灯笼照明用的

酱多人站在上面干嘛？这是天坛中间凸出来最高的地方，据说是皇帝跟天讲话的地方

后面放神牌的地方，人潮多到～～

中国八天行 Day 1

~21st OCT~
早上3AM在古来车站集合，坐巴士去新加坡。
对，是AM！
航班是从新加坡9AM出发，
为了避开早上新柔关卡的严重塞车
我们必须提早出发
3AM这种时间，我当然是没睡就直接去啦，
在飞机上能睡嘛。
果然关卡人影没几个，
五点多就到新加坡的樟宜机场。
还有三个多钟，只好跑去底楼吃早餐咯。

在半昏迷的状态下(没睡嘛)，check in了就走到最远的gate。
乘坐的是厦门航空，这时候才知道原来不是直飞我们的第一个目的地北京，而是飞往厦门，转机去天津，然后才坐旅车去北京，
是谁这样安排的啊！！？？？
上了飞机，才知道这机有够小。
一排只有六个座位，中间一个走道窄到只够一个人走，
座位大小和空间比我们的长途巴士还小，
这样飞到厦门再转天津，肯定很痛苦。
还好空服员一两个还不错看～～

新加坡飞到夏门大概花了三个小时多，我还是继续半昏迷。
这样的座位怎么睡啊？
到了厦门下机再上了机后，竟然还延误起飞！
最后下午五点多终于要到天津了，
眼看外面都是云和雾，根本看不到陆地。
飞机慢慢下降，穿过云层，颠覆很利害。
慢慢看到陆地的时候，已经很低了，吓到～
原来当时天津起雾，能见度很低，
landing还蛮稳的，机师不错哦～

蒙到看不清天津也是举办奥运的城市之一，所以有这个东东

下机后马上又上巴士去北京，两个小时的车程。
这是什么旅游啊？

去到北京都累垮了，马上就到餐馆吃晚餐。

到中国吃的第一家，没什么特别的就不介绍了～

吃完就入酒店了，当地rate四星，我的标准就大概二星半吧。
房间小，床又硬，还要住上四个晚上，惨～～
不过这时候我已经36个小时没睡了
冲凉后就倒下去了........

中国八天行

终于，昨晚从中国＂飞＂回来了
八天的行程，有够累的咯
每天早上六点多起身
一直四处走到晚上八九点才回酒店休息
每个景点都限制时间，意思意思走下酱
我要用我自己的相机拍，然后还要用妈妈的相机帮她拍，然后还要帮那些aunty拍，有够忙的咯
八天我自己拍了379张照片(不包括不美删除掉的)，用了10粒电磁，大概再删掉一些没有什么重点的，还剩271张打算post在这边，好像还是很多酱。

I just realize that my blog wasn't updated with anything new for 2weeks time.
Probably it's becoz I having my final exam now, or..actually I got nth to write..lame~

by the way here's the summary of how's my life was recently and also going to be..
just for my frens to know...even thought u dun really care but still I wan you to read this! haha

- Crazy online shopping during study week, just few days before my first paper. Bought some "guy's toys" online cost me almost RM500. Don't misunderstood, "guy's toys" is not something 18SX, it's Creative X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro Series Soundcard, TakaraTommy Drift Package Light(a remote controlled drift car, really great!), and 6pcs Sanyo Eneloop Rechargeable Batteries for the car.

- Feel like months for past 2weeks. A lot of things happened, life changing decision, lots of talks, super long complicated thought, and done things I've never thought I will do it...

- Done 2 exam papers, 3 more to go. In my last paper I only manage to do 2 out of 6 questions. It's not becoz I didn't study or I'm too stupid, but perhaps the lecturer is too lazy to mark the exam paper so he came out some question which MOST of us duno how to do, so.. he dun need to spend nites marking our papers.

- Trip to Beijing on 21st Oct, with my parents to visit my brother who working as structure engineer there. Heard that the temperature at Beijing is going down very soon, now having around 15C at night, that's very cold for me. I may need to stock some "winter" clothes for this.
But my last paper on 18th, hopefully still got time to prepare something.

- A decision made and action must be taken very soon. I'll expect everyone around shock on this but I've really come to final decision already. And I know frens who really know me will understand this is the right decision which good for me, and good for the rest who involved as well...

- Finally last race of GRA Championship 2008 on 23rd November, location not confirmed yet. Very important race for me cause I'll miss Round4 on 26th Oct due to the Beijing trip, then I must win the last round to win 2008 Championship title. And my car will be sponsored a new MS-R intake system to test the performance before it hit the market, 1st car in Malaysia to have this!

Finally...CAD Assignment is DONE!!!

First of all, for some of you didn't know what CAD stand for,
read the following quote from Wikipedia.

Computer-aided design (CAD) is the use of computer technology to aid in the design and especially the drafting (technical drawing and engineering drawing) of a part or product, including entire buildings. It is both a visual (or drawing) and symbol-based method of communication whose conventions are particular to a specific technical field.

So what's my assignment is about?
We are required to do a design of any system which consist of minimum 4 parts, fully drawn and assembly by using CATIA.
If you didn't know what CATIA stand for as well.....

CATIA (Computer Aided Three Dimensional Interactive Application) is a multi-platform CAD/CAM/CAE commercial software suite, widely used throughout the engineering industry, especially in the automotive and aerospace sectors.

As what I know, CATIA is one of the most advanced CAD software available in the market now, used for most of the high-tech engineering design. Just for example, all the major F1 Teams you know like Ferrari, McLaren Mercedes, Toyota, BMW, Renault, Honda, are using CATIA for F1 chassis or engines design.

For my assignment, me and my partner decided to design a simple car suspension system.
The design basically not really applicable on real car but at least we are able to show what we know about design using CATIA. As I believe I have enough knowledge on the suspension system, I take charge on the design of coilover shock absorber, while my partner will hands on the chassis frame. This is the 3D model of the coilover shock absorber I draw, consist of 9 parts in total. The main feature of this is the Hi-Lo adjustable spring seat and Mono-Tube shock absorber. I really did draw the valve, piston, seal inside the shock absorber cylinder!
This is the chassis main frame drawn by my partner. Very simple but actually easier for parts assembly. Beside the frame and coilover, there are many many other parts we have draw like link, joint, bolts, nuts, so that the whole system can be fully assemble.
After days and nights doing design and edit and reedit, finally we had done the full assembly of the suspension system. As what I've mentioned earlier on the Hi-Lo adjustable spring seat on the coilover, it will allow the height adjustment of the whole suspension system. Which means if you have this sytem in your car, you can actually adjust the height of car as you wish! And yes, the Hi-Lo adjustment can be fully simulated inside the CATIA software.
Compare with the requirement of our assignment which require minimum 4 parts in assembly, we did total of 23 individual single parts, and total of 58 assembly parts. As this is our first time using CATIA, it is really not an easy job. And I can imagine that how skillful an engineer who work for those F1 Teams has to be, where they have to design total of 3500 parts for the F1 cars, and each of the part must be the best design so their car can go faster. Of course, I hope I can be one of them in the future!

Actually I'm very impressed that MMU provide basic training of CATIA design in my course. As in the lab our lecturer had teach us on Part Design and Assembly Design, which some company out there offering course on this at the price of 200-300USD each. And for the CATIA software, it cost around 16.5K USD for a single license. It should cost more than RM100K to get CATIA license for the 20PC in MMU lab, even after some discount for education purposes I think....

How fast can you go in a car park?

GRA Round3 2008 was held on 7th Sept.
First time GRA going to Sepang F1 Circuit car park,
with longest, fastest, and most technical course layout!
(If you have no idea on what is "GRA", read my previous post)Different from the previous rounds in Shah Alam,
we have bright blue sky and excellent weather this round.
The road are dry, means we doesn't need to "slide" around as what we did in Shah Alam.
The car park cover a very large area, where the organizer actually suggest us to bring bicycle along so easier for us to move around. I took almost half an hour to do the coursewalk with my leg!The track layout was very nicely planned which cover the whole parking area, with a few long straights and a lot of fast corners. Middle of the course we have about 300metres long straights, which we can hit 120-140km/h easily. Layout is relatively technical and complicated, which is quite confusing causing a lot of drivers did wrong course run this round. Remember the track layout is the first task all drivers must get through.Not much troubles for me in this round, where I have good handling and tire traction around the whole course. We were given 5 timed run and I just easily get used to the fast course and improved my time for each run. In the end I finish 1st in Class A with about 2.5second ahead of the 2nd position , that's a very satisfying results for me.Round4 has been postponed due to some equipment problems.
For anyone else interested to join GRA,
please do so as long as you have a "healthy" car, it can be a stock original car, pasar car, study car, daily drive car, monster car, track car...
This is actually a very good opportunity to learn the "behavior" of your car,
so that you can control it properly in different kind of situation especially when you're driving on the public road.

It's been a while I didn't post here
since I can't think of anything else to write
I think I'll write something related to cars,
which I initially don't plan to write anything on this in my blog..
This will be a bit long, if you are no interested, just skip this..hehe

I've joined GRA event since last year,
which I enjoyed very much and gained a lot of experience from it.
It is also where I start racing cars.

GRA - Grass Racing Autosports
What we do in GRA is Autocross racing, basically a time trial competition which driver must complete the preset course layout using their own cars in shortest time. Normally the course will be at large car park area or open public road, with some cones to set the course.

It is sanctioned by MAM(Motorsports Association of Malaysia)
and is the most professionally done autocross event where you can race legally.
Drivers are divided into 2 main categories
Grass Class - for novice drivers who had not won any other similar race event
Pro Grass Class - it just mean for PRO

In each categories, drivers will race according to the class of their cars
-Grass Class below 1300CC, below 1600CC and Automatic Transmission Class.
-Pro Grass below 1300CC, below 1600CC, below 2000CC, and above 2000CC.

Normally before the race start, drivers are allowed to do course walk where you can walk around the course to familiar with the layout, check the direction, apex point of corners, and also road surface condition. This is very important for drivers to give a good run later on.
Then it will start by 1 practice run, and followed by 3 to 6 timed run depend on the schedule of the day.
As there is only 1 practice run given, drivers must memorized the course first as there is no direction given when you are in the race. Drivers must figure out the best driving line and technique thru out the course as soon as possible, and also fine tune the car setup such as suspension damping and tire pressure to give best traction around the course.
In each run, drivers must push their cars to the limit of what their skills and cars can do.
Keep the cars in control is very crucial, as normally the course is set up with very tight corners and the curbs and barrier might be just a few inches away. Slight mistake may cost a big problem.

In GRA we use infra red sensor timing system which give the accuracy of 0.001second, to match with the high level skill of GRA competitors which they normally having time difference of less than 1second. I had the experience of 0.373second slower than the 1st position end up walking home with a silver podium.

Count the cones if you can

I first participated Grass Class A(below 1300cc) with my Iswara Aeroback in 2007 GRA Round4 held in Shah Alam Stadium Car Park, which I finish in 5th position. It was a good start and I continue to join Round5 held in Putrajaya which was a very fast open road course, just beside the Palace of Justice, finish in 4th position with 0.682second behind to get a podium finish. Then it was followed by a lot of upgrades and modification on my car, practice and practice and practice, to target the 1st position in GRA Autocross Championship 2008 which consist of 5rounds in total.Round1 2008 was held in Shah Alam Stadium Car Park again, I've push my car beyond the limit in this round, which I having a very tough race with one of the experienced driver who piloting a well-tuned Kelisa which is very suitable for this tight course layout in Shah Alam. At the end I'm 0.373second behind him and finish in 2nd position.Round3 is again in Shah Alam. As what I've learned from previous round, I did more preparation before the race start. Study the course layout carefully and figure out the best driving line, get best tire traction by adjust the tire pressure, and set up medium suspension damping to suit the road surface which has a lot of sands, rocks, and holes in half of the course. And finally, I finish 1st with 2.189second ahead of the 2nd position. The hard work had finally pay back!In my next post will be the coverage of GRA Round3 which is held in Sepang F1 Circuit Car Park on last weekend. This was the longest, fastest and also most challenging course layout in GRA history. Check back here in few days for the updates!

this is wat we do in Paintball match
I've joined MY-NPL (Malaysian National Paintball League) Event 4 at Dataran Pahlawan Melaka last weekend.
me myself and my whole team who joined this, was never played or even touch paintball b4
and we just head straight for Division4 Young Gun competition
out of 29teams, my team Screwball managed to get into quarter final
means we are actually in the top 8 position!

We lose to team Shockwave in quarter final, which actually are quite pro and not "young gun" at all.
they are here for serious business, team jersey, paintball pants, their own face-mask, harness wif at least 4extra pods which can carry 140pellets each, "screwed" Screwball 2matches straight.
hey, we only wear track bottom, RM20 long sleeve shirt, house random smelly oldies face-mask, without harness to take as many pod as Shockwave, we only take 1 pod each person and put into our pocket!
but we are really glad as we able to be top 8

by the way, only teams go into the final can get some prize like cash and medals
so Screwball in quarter final get nth afterall
we spent almost RM200 each person for this event
but this is only wat we get...?

we gained experience, a lot..
watch out for Team Screwball in MY-NPL 2009 tournament
by tat time it will be our turn to do serious business to screw some young gun teams!!

上个星期
<<改变>>第十集Final终于出了
第九集的故事大转变
让人非常期待Final会有怎样的结局

可是看了后，觉得Final做得不是很好
尤其木村在中间整20分钟的自述
看到我差点睡着了
还好最后的一段做得还不错
补回一点分
不过这部日剧还是值得看啦

尤其现在我国发生政治混乱现象的时候
看这部戏会特别有感觉
里面有很多的道理，应该让那些政治人物看看才好

最近不小心发现了一套刚播映不久的日剧
会感兴趣因为木村拓哉是主角
看了很多部他的戏都觉得不错

剧情介绍
本剧名为《改变》(CHANGE)，其实还有个小小的副标题“改变日本的或许就是你”。

　　在日本普通国民心目中，日本政府充满了问题，比如无法解决堆积如山的养老金问题，许许多多的贪污事件，首相突然辞职等等。于是众多国民在充斥着愤怒和疑问的时候，只能每天看新闻来了解。

　　加上时值美国大选，于是富士电视台把春季重头大戏安排给了政治题材的日剧，更邀请了日剧天王木村拓哉来扮演这个贫民首相，可谓“强强联手”抢尽眼球。

　　小学教师朝仓启太每天都在孩子们的包围中感到生活的满足，他是个对政治一丝兴趣也无的普通男人，却机缘巧合当选了议员，甚至朝着首相迈进。而实际上这一切都有许多超级大政治家在背后操控。

The Race is Over

been busy prepared for my race since the holiday started
and I had great finishing ytd for the race
maybe it's worth the efforts

It was a very very tiring day
drive back to JB just after the prize presentation
5hours of driving, tats the longest drive I get so far
took a lot of video and pictures in the race day
but not for now to view, maybe next week only I can sort everything out and post it here

Malaysian : Crazy for Petrol

So the latest breaking news around 5pm today is..
RON97 petrol will be RM2.70/litre start from 12.01AM 5th June 2008 in Malaysia.

I know almost all the bloggers in Malaysia will write about this
but still..I think I have to write something different abit..

Yeah I'm a driver of small CC car
but I do drive alot daily
normally I spent around RM200-400 per month for petrol
by calculation, in the future I need to spend RM281 - 562 per month for petrol.

as in expectation, all the ppls are complaining now
all the major forums are full wif topic about petrol
and some even say protest had started in some city

but... if we look at this at a different point of view, will it be a good thing?
aren't we too rely on petrol or fuel for our living?
natural gas are very limited resources in earth now
and all the fossil burning which release large amount of carbon dioxide had pollute our beautiful earth for too long
our air temperature just going high too fast!

it may seems that we will suffer from the increasing petrol price currently
but I really hope that this will benefit the next generation
which are more concern about green world and not rely on petrol
more and more research and technology to replace fossil burning
this may still take some time for ppl to get used to high petrol price
but in the end we still have to face the fact that natural gas will run out one day

at least for now, ppl may drive lesser and share car more often
its a good thing for green world
maybe we are supposed to suffer now for our future generation to live on in the future...

国内贸易与消费人事务部长说到
燃油补贴机制在8月实行后
国内汽油与柴油价格将自由浮动

自由浮动的意思就是指政府不会设定油价
而是根据市场价格浮动
这样的做法在很多国家是很普遍的
汽油的价钱每天都会不一样

而以目前的市价来看
大概是RM4/liter
也就是我们用着的RM1.92/liter的两倍
看到这边
很多人都看不下去开始大骂了
我自己也常常开车
用油量也不少
以后生活应该更难过了
可是，大家有没有想到更深层的一面呢？？

天然油是不可以循环使用的
迟早有一天会用完
人们如果还是那么的依靠石油
真的用完的时候人类要怎样存活？
人类发明燃烧化石来得到能量
是走错了一大步
虽然这个方法最容易生产大量能量
可是以现在的用量
已经到无法控制的程度了
燃烧化石所产生的气体
是污染环境的罪魁祸首

地球的温度持续上升
可以说主要是这个造成的
曾经有研究人员解释说
如果人们以目前的用量持续使用化石能量的话
不用100年，地球就再也不能让人类生活了

温度上升造成很多农作物无法生产
动物开始改变生活方式
南北极冰山大量融化造成海水平线上升
很多沿海地区很快就会消失
人类生活的地方越来越拥挤
食物越来越少
温度持续上升
很多生物开始改变它们的本性
可能人类灭亡之前，是以吃同类为生吧

A day in Hotel

OK..
every sem break my parent will arrange this well for me
for wat?
of course not my vacation
but to represent them in their company training
it's compulsory for the company's agent to attend the training every year
so I did....although I'm not the agent and I'm not doing the work

Same as last year, the training was held in New York Hotel Meeting Room II again this year
Nth much changed but we have a bigger room this time
and perhaps, little bit/slightly better foods

from 9am to 4pm, I would say it's quite not interesting thru out the training
(that's how I felt for most of the training I went before)
and, becoz of they hired a lecturer as the trainer,
I feel like I'm back in campus for lecture again
except that you get free mentos and free flow skyjuice
(this is good enuf if I was really in campus)

Sitting and waiting time fly, but it just crawled today...

看几时会有地球以外的生物来跟他们沟通
有天, 他们开始抢食, 互残, 地球越来越严重污染
人类一个一个死去, 最后灭亡
如果他们可以互相容忍, 包容, 一起分享食物, 照顾地球
就不会死完了啊, 怎么这样笨呢?
